Zimmerman Workshop brings many past projects and experiences to the table, including services for programming, and architectural and urban design. Previous practice experience includes private sector and corporate clients, institutions, healthcare, commercial, and residential development work ranging in scale from single family housing to multi million square foot buildings and campuses for clients operating locally, nationally, and internationally.
Adam Zimmerman, AIA, LEED AP
With nearly a decade of professional experience working for offices such as Renzo Piano Building Workshop (Paris), VOA Associates (Chicago), and Kohn Pedersen Fox (New York), Adam has amassed experience on premiere projects around the world. Having worked on small- and large-scale buildings, Adam has the experience necessary to fully design, manage, coordinate, and construct a variety of projects.
Adam is a registered architect in the State of New York, an member of the American Institute of Achitects, and a LEED Accredited Professional.
Sofia Galadza Zimmerman
Sofia brings a variety of experience to her role as Partner and Design Consultant. This includes several years spent as an editor at Contract Magazine, where she specialized in materials and resources, sustainable design, and consumer trends. Also owner of Sofia Zimmerman Communications, Sofia works with a range of clients in the design industry.
JOB POSTING - Architectural Draftsman
To be qualified for this position, candidates need a master’s degree in architecture.
Preferred candidates will have experience working in an office with vast exposure to AutoCAD drawing sets, sheetset manager, xref management, etc. to procure construction documents.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Rhino are a must. Proficiency in 3DS Max and Revit is not required but favored. Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office are assumed requisites. Problem solving, thinking on your toes, and “figuring-it-out” is mandatory.
Beyond the requirements listed above, we’re looking for someone with energy, enthusiasm and superb work ethic. You should be your own toughest critic until the job is done right with a general love of the game.
